The essence of Vedic astrology is to help us make spiritual advancement and become detached from this material world, which is just a place of suffering. If we want real pleasure, we have to transfer our existence to the spiritual world, where we can experience eternal pleasure. This material world is just the appearance of reality, but everything here is temporary, therefore it cannot give us the unconditional spiritual love and pleasure we seek.
