=================================================== 60 Years of Back to Godhead 1944 - 2004 (C) 2005 The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International Produced by the Bhaktivedanta Archives =================================================== You can access the collection from the DVD by running START.HTML from the disc. However, running from the disc may be slow on your system. If this is the case, you may run the install.exe program on the PC, or following the instructions below to copy the contents on your Mac. The cover and article indexes as well as article full texts are in HTML. They can be viewed with any modern browser. If you would like to view the original layout of the BTG magazines, Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. This free software, available on this disc or at www.adobe.com, will allow you to view each individual page. Depending on the configuration of your computer, you should be able to view these PDF files inside of the browser. ---------------------- MACINTOSH INSTALLATION ---------------------- Installation on the Mac is as simple as copying the files from the DVD disc into a folder on your desktop that you should create named 60BTG. Make sure you have at least 6.5 GB of free space on your hard drive and some patience--depending on the speed of your computer, copying may take well over 30 minutes. Select all of the files and directories from the DVD and copy them into the 60BTG folder. To access the collection, double-click on the START.HTML file in your 60BTG folder. Once you have copied one side of the disc, you only need to copy the "issues" directory from the other side of the disc. When you have completed this, double-click the "index_full.html" file to access the full collection. ADVANCED USERS: If you don't have enough space on your hard drive, you can copy everything EXCEPT the "issues" directory. This will give you access to the full index on your hard drive but not to the full issue PDFs. The PDFs can be still be read from the DVD however. ---------- CONTACT US ---------- If you are experiencing difficulty accessing the BTG collection, please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) available on the disc or from www.Prabhupada.com/btg.
